1) Scope and Agreement

This Privacy Policy applies to getshazory.com and related services we provide, including Shazory Creator Studio, order checkout and fulfillment, customer support, and the Shazory Pet Contest. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, the Terms control for service usage rules and this Policy controls for data practices.

Age and eligibility: Our store and Creator Studio are intended for adults. The Shazory Pet Contest has different age rules: Entrants and winners must be U.S. residents age 18+. Voting eligibility is U.S. 13+ and outside the U.S. 18+ (except where prohibited). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we collected it, we will delete it.

Marketplaces: Shazory-branded products may also be sold through third-party marketplaces (for example, Amazon). Data handling on those platforms is governed by their policies. We may receive information necessary to support orders and customer service.

Pet Contest only: Shazory currently operates a Pet Contest. We are not currently running a baby contest.

2) Definitions

• Personal Information: Information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you (such as name, email, shipping address, device identifiers, and online activity data).
• User Content: Any photo, image, video, text, design, prompt, caption, or other content you upload, submit, or generate through our services.
• Creator Studio Content: User Content uploaded to or generated within Creator Studio for product personalization.
• Contest Content: User Content submitted to the Shazory Pet Contest.
• Service Providers: Vendors that help us operate the business (e-commerce, payments, fulfillment, carriers, support, analytics, advertising, email/SMS).
• Sharing / Targeted Advertising: Disclosing certain identifiers or online activity data to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws.

3) Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

• Orders: Name, email, shipping address, order details, and customization details required to produce your order.
• Creator Studio: Images you upload, prompts/instructions you submit, and designs/text you create.
• Pet Contest: Pet photo, pet display name, caption/story, and voting-related metadata used to enforce rules and prevent abuse. Voting eligibility is U.S. 13+ and outside the U.S. 18+ (except where prohibited).
• Support: Information you include in communications with us.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, clicks, and cart/checkout events.
• Approximate location: Derived from IP address for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and localization. We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location.
• Security signals: Signals used to protect the site and contest integrity.

3.3 Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for essential functions (cart, checkout, security), analytics, and advertising measurement and delivery (for example: Meta, TikTok, Google).

Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where we can detect GPC and it is supported by applicable law, we treat it as a request to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising for that browser/device.

You can also control cookies through browser settings and opt out through relevant advertising platform tools. Where supported, Global Privacy Control (GPC) is treated as an opt-out request for that browser/device.

3.4 Contest Integrity Tracking

We use limited technical signals (for example, email verification, device signals, IP analysis, cookies, and behavioral review) to prevent fraud, enforce vote limits, and protect contest integrity.

We do not use contest voting activity to build profiles of minors for targeted advertising.

3.5 Biometric Data Disclaimer

Creator Studio tools may analyze images (for example, cropping or background removal), but we do not collect, capture, store, or share biometric identifiers (such as faceprints or voiceprints) for the purpose of uniquely identifying anyone. We do not maintain a database of face templates. We do not use biometric data to identify you and we do not maintain biometric profiles or face templates.

4) How We Use Information

• Fulfillment: Printing, shipping, returns, customer service, and order updates.
• Creator Studio operations: Rendering designs, generating previews/production files, and producing customized products. We may crop, resize, compress, or format uploads as needed for previews, display, or production.
• Contest operations: Running the Pet Contest, enforcing rules, detecting fraud, verifying eligibility, and confirming winners.
• Communications: Transactional messages and (if you opt in) marketing communications.
• Security and fraud prevention: Protecting accounts and preventing abuse.
• Analytics and improvement: Understanding usage and improving services.
• Advertising and measurement: Delivering ads and measuring performance on third-party platforms.
• Legal compliance: Complying with law and enforcing agreements.

5) How We Disclose Information

5.1 Service Providers

We disclose information to Service Providers as needed to operate our services (e-commerce, payments, fulfillment/printing, carriers, support tools, security tools, analytics).

5.2 Fulfillment Partners

Some products may be fulfilled and shipped by third-party partners. We share information needed to fulfill your order (for example, name, shipping address, and order details).

5.3 Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may disclose limited identifiers and site activity data to advertising and analytics partners (including Meta, TikTok, and Google) for measurement, attribution, and, depending on your choices, targeted advertising. Under certain state laws, this may be considered sharing for targeted advertising.

5.4 Public Contest Content and Winner Lists

Pet Contest entries are public by design. If you submit Contest Content, other users may view, share, embed, screenshot, or redistribute it outside our control.

Removing an entry from our site does not remove copies that others may have saved, reposted, embedded, or shared.

Winner publicity: Where permitted or required by law, we may publish winner information such as first name, last initial, and state (for example, Alex S. from PA).

5.5 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers

• Legal compliance: If required by law or valid legal process.
• Safety and rights protection: To protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

5.6 No Sale for Money

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

5.7 Mobile Information (Text Messaging)

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared.

6) Creator Studio, AI, and User Content Responsibility

6.1 Your Responsibility for User Content

• Rights and permissions: You must own or have permission to use any content you upload or generate, including permission from anyone who appears in the content.
• Minors: If you upload an image containing a child or minor, you represent you are the parent/legal guardian or have verifiable permission from the parent/legal guardian.
• Third-party rights: Do not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or privacy/publicity rights.
• Personal data caution: You are responsible for ensuring your uploads do not include personal data you do not have the right to share.

6.2 AI and Third-Party Processing

Creator Studio may use third-party tools (including AI-enabled processing) to generate previews, print-ready files, or other outputs you request and to fulfill your order. Your inputs may be transmitted to Service Providers for processing, subject to their terms and policies.

6.3 Moderation and Removal

We may remove or restrict User Content for policy, safety, quality, legal, or operational reasons, and disclose information where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7) Children’s Privacy

Our store and Creator Studio are intended for adults. The Pet Contest voting feature is available to eligible voters as stated in this Policy and the Official Rules (U.S. 13+; outside the U.S. 18+, except where prohibited).

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child’s personal information was submitted improperly, contact hello@getshazory.com with the subject Child Data Removal Request. Votes cast by individuals under the age of 13 are void.

8) Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct certain personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising.

8.1 How to Submit Requests

Email hello@getshazory.com with the subject Privacy Rights Request. Include your name, the email used on our site, your state of residence, and the request type (Access, Delete, Correct, Opt-Out).

8.2 Opt-Out of Sharing for Targeted Advertising

• Cookie Preferences: If available, use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where supported and detectable, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser/device.
• Email: Use the subject Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

8.3 Authorized Agents and Appeals

You may designate an authorized agent. We may require proof. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing with the subject Privacy Request Appeal.

9) CPRA and State Law Disclosures

The table below describes categories of information we collect, sources and purposes, recipients, and whether the category may be sold or shared as defined under certain state laws.

* Under California law, Shared generally refers to disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10) Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for operations, fulfillment, contest integrity, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Deletion requests remove information from active systems where appropriate. Some data may be retained for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and secure backups (eventually overwritten).

Contest entries and vote integrity logs may be retained for 24 months for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and winner verification.

11) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) International Visitors

Shazory is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where Service Providers operate, and data protection laws may differ.

13) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The Last Updated date shows when it was revised. Material changes may be posted on this page.
